Log off from OAT

This topic describes how to log on to OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT) by using a browser.

Prerequisites

Before you log on to OAT, make sure that the following conditions are met:

  • You have installed OAT. For more information, see Install OAT.
  • You are using Google Chrome 49 or later.

Procedure

  1. Enter the access address of OAT in the address bar of your browser and press Enter.

The OAT access address is in the http://<<oat_server_ip>:7000 format.

    Note

The default port for OAT is port 7000. You can change it to the port actually in use.

  2. On the logon page, enter the username and password of OAT.

  3. Click Log On.

  4. In the dialog box that appears, select the running mode of OAT.

    OAT runs in two modes:

    • Production mode: You can select this mode for performance testing or production delivery. In this mode, strict production environment checks are performed.

    • POC mode: You can select this mode for ecosystem adaptation or non-performance testing tasks. When you add servers in this mode, checks that do not affect service loading are skipped.

    Note

You can select the running mode only when you log on to OAT for the first time. To change the running mode, choose System Management > System Parameters to change the value of the oat.run_mode parameter, whose valid values are poc and production. poc indicates the POC mode and production indicates the production mode.

What to do next

After you log on to OAT, the welcome page appears. You can learn about the features and operation process of OAT on the welcome page.

Log off from OAT

You can log off from OAT as required. In the upper-right corner of the page, click your avatar, click Log Off, and then click OK. If the logon page appears, you are successfully logged off.
