Perform O&M operations on a server

Last Updated:2026-09-03 09:50:14

Prerequisites
Procedure

After a server is initialized, you can perform O&M operations on it. For example, you can change the purpose of the server and configure clock synchronization and disk initialization for the server.

Prerequisites

Before you perform O&M operations on a server, make sure that the following conditions are met:

  • You have installed OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT). For more information, see Install OAT.
  • You have added the server, and the server has been initialized.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the OAT console as a super administrator or an O&M engineer.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Server > Server Management.

  3. Find the target server and click its IP address in the IP column.

At the top of the page, you can search for a server by IP address.

  4. Click O&M in the upper-right corner and change the purpose of the server or configure clock synchronization or disk initialization for the server.
