The CANONICALIZE procedure is used to normalize a specified name string, such as removing extra whitespace and adding double quotes as needed.
Applicability
This content applies only to OceanBase Database Enterprise Edition. OceanBase Database Community Edition does not support it.
Syntax
DBMS_UTILITY.CANONICALIZE (
name IN VARCHAR2,
canon_name OUT VARCHAR2,
canon_len IN BINARY_INTEGER);
