Troubleshooting procedure

Take the following steps to check whether a table exists and create the table if it does not exist.

1. If the table does not exist, we recommend that you check whether the table name is correct. If yes, execute the CREATE TABLE statement to create a table as needed. For example:

   obclient [SYS]> CREATE TABLE student(
   id NUMBER,
   name varchar2(18),
   sex char(1),
   age NUMBER,
   address varchar2(200),
   email varchar2(100),
   c_date date,
   PRIMARY KEY (id)
   );

2. After the table is created, view the schema of the table.

   obclient [SYS]> desc student;

   | FIELD   | TYPE          | NULL | KEY | DEFAULT  | EXTRA |
   +---------+---------------+------+-----+----------+-------+
   | ID      | NUMBER(38)    | NO   | PRI | NULL     | NULL  |
