Procedure

To set password-free SSH login, follow these steps:

1. Run the following command on the central control server to check whether the key exists:

   [admin@test001 ~]$ ls ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub

If yes, you do not need to generate a new private SSH key.

2. (Optional) Run the following command on the central control server to generate public and private SSH keys:

   [admin@test001 ~]$ ssh-keygen -t rsa

3. Copy and paste the public keys to the authorized_keys file on the target server:

   [admin@test001 ~]$ ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub <user>@<server_ip>
