Overview

OceanBase Connector/J V2.2.6 introduces the SEND PIECE feature and the COM_STMT_PREPARE_EXECUTE protocol extension, and fixes customer issues. It is ready for routine business use.

Feature enhancements

• Supports SEND PIECE in Oracle-compatible mode.
• Supports COM_STMT_PREPARE_EXECUTE in Oracle-compatible mode.

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where Metadata construction failed when the prepareCall parameter was set to its default value.
• Fixed an issue where garbled characters occurred in GBK tenants when the connection string had characterEncoding=gbk.
• Fixed an issue where the rewriteBatchedStatements=true and useServerPrepStmts=false features were mutually exclusive.
• Fixed an issue where JDBC class loading failed due to different Guava versions.
• Fixed an issue where getColumns and getTables were case-sensitive, inconsistent with Oracle.
• Fixed an issue where the call xxx syntax was not supported for stored procedures or functions without parameters.
• Fixed an issue where data insertion of zonedDateTime type failed to work correctly when useServerPrepStmts=true was specified in the connection string.
• Fixed an issue where ORA00900 error occurred when a closing parenthesis () was missing at the end of a CALL statement.
