Version information

  • Release date: June 30, 2022

  • Version: V2.2.10

Overview

OceanBase Connector/J V2.2.10 introduces the LoadBalance feature and enhances compatibility with MySQL and Oracle. It is suitable for general business use.

Feature enhancements

  • Added the LoadBalance feature. You can specify a connection balancing method (random, weighted, or round-robin) by using a URL or configuration file to establish connections through load balancing. Load balancing groups and blocklist policies are also supported to improve availability and security.

  • Added support for the sendConnectionAttributes interface to control whether to send extended attributes during connection establishment. This meets the requirement of providing more options for users with different permissions.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the getWarnings() interface returned null when an error occurred in MySQL-compatible mode.

  • Fixed an issue where the ColumnType for the Blob and Text types was inconsistent with MySQL in MySQL-compatible mode.

  • Fixed an issue where the checkClose() behavior of the Statement interface was inconsistent with MySQL when closing a connection in MySQL-compatible mode.

  • Fixed an issue where the ResultSet.close() interface did not implement the logic to close a cursor when using a refcursor in Oracle-compatible mode. This caused cursors in OceanBase Database to be released untimely in some cases.

  • Fixed an issue where the setTransactionIsolation interface might trigger a lock.
