This topic describes the issues that may occur when you use the feature of function partitioning key-based routing in OceanBase Database Proxy (ODP) and provides corresponding solutions.

• The routing based on an expression is inaccurate.

  First, check whether ODP supports the function in the expression. Then, check whether the function syntax used is supported.

• A routing error occurs because scientific notation, such 1e9, is used in the expression.

  Currently, ODP does not support the calculation of expressions with scientific notation.

• A routing error occurs because a function argument contains a column name, such as c1 +1 and mod(c1,2).

  Currently, ODP does not support the parsing of expressions with column names.
