Overview

OceanBase Connector/J V2.2.10 introduces the LoadBalance feature and enhances compatibility with MySQL and Oracle. It is suitable for general business use.

Feature enhancements

• Added the LoadBalance feature. Users can specify connection balancing methods (random, weighted, or round-robin) via a URL or configuration file to establish connections. Load balancing groups and blocklist policies have also been expanded to improve availability and security.

• Added support for the sendConnectionAttributes interface to control whether extended attributes are sent during connection establishment, meeting the need to provide more options for users with different permissions.

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where the getWarnings() method returned null when an error occurred in MySQL-compatible mode.

• Fixed an inconsistency between the ColumnType of the Blob and Text types and MySQL-compatible mode in MySQL-compatible mode.

• Fixed an inconsistency between the behavior of the checkClose() method of the Statement interface and MySQL-compatible mode when closing a connection in MySQL-compatible mode.

• Fixed an issue where the ResultSet.close() method did not implement the cursor closing logic when using a refcursor in Oracle-compatible mode, causing cursors in OceanBase Database to be released untimely in certain situations.

• Fixed a potential lock issue triggered by the setTransactionIsolation method.
