What to do next

This topic describes how to create and uninstall InfluxDB in the OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT) console.

Prerequisites

Before you create InfluxDB, make sure that:

  • You have installed and logged on to OAT as a super administrator or an O&M engineer. For more information, see Install OAT.
  • You have added a server where InfluxDB is to be installed. For more information, see Add a server.
  • You have added an InfluxDB image file.
  • The server meets the requirements for installing InfluxDB.

Create InfluxDB

To install InfluxDB, perform the following steps:

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Product Service > Component Management.

  2. On the Component Management page, click Create Component in the upper-right corner, and choose Create InfluxDB.

  3. On the Create InfluxDB page, specify the related parameters.

The following table describes the basic parameters of InfluxDB.

    Parameter
    Description
InfluxDB Image The Docker image of InfluxDB.
Component Name The name of the component, which must be unique. Default value: influxdb.
Server The IP address of the server where InfluxDB is to be installed.
CPU The number of CPU cores allocated to InfluxDB. Default value: 4C.
Memory The memory allocated to InfluxDB. Default value: 8G.
Installation Directory The installation path of InfluxDB. Default value: /data/influxdb.
Listening Port The listening port of InfluxDB. Default value: 8086.
  4. After you set the parameters, click Submit.

You can also click Reset to restore the default configurations.

Uninstall InfluxDB

To uninstall InfluxDB, perform the following steps:

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Product Service > Product Management.

  2. Find the target InfluxDB service and click Uninstall in the Operation column.

You can also search for the service by name.

  3. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click Uninstall.

OAT displays a message indicating that the service is being uninstalled. OAT also creates an uninstall task. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, you can click the task ID to view the task progress.

    Notice

If InfluxDB is associated with another product, the uninstall will fail.

What to do next

After you install InfluxDB, you can collect and display historical monitoring data for OMS.
